Inaugural flight of a freeware Boeing B747-8i created by Andy Roesch which was obtained from AVSIM. For the most part, the aircraft flew quite nicely except for a serious problem during approach into Kai Tak Rwy 31. At approximately 2000 feet AGL, the aircraft went 5 degrees pitch down and began decending beyond the glide slope. I had to disengage the autopilot and fly the aircraft manually for landing. I will need to try a few more flights to find out what caused this to happen. |
